60 Minutes: October 07, 2007 The Man From Interpol; Roots; Springsteen; Birdman Steve Kroft interviews Interpol’s secretary general, Ron Noble and investigates deeper into the powerful, often mysterious international law enforcement agency. In a second story, Lesley Stahl looks into the newest genetic technology that reportedly lets individuals trace their DNA back hundreds of years. Some people are quite surprised by the results. Also, Scott Pelley interviews Bruce Springsteen who is once again touring. At 58 years old, Springsteen remains outspoken and in recent years rather politically involved, expressing his feelings as he does best, through song. Finally, Birdman is Forrest Bird, inventor of the respirator. Morley Safer reports about how this 86 year old seems to be the least likely candidate for his own device. And Andy Rooney tonight on 60 Minutes.
