Initial D: In the wintertime, Sayuki and Mako are snowboarding. They meet up with Shingo and Miyahara, a guy who also races with the Night Kids. Sayuki and Shingo set it up so that Mako goes with the guy on what ends up being a blind date. After the two hit it off, Miyahara asks Mako to be his girlfriend, but he wants Mako to give up racing because it is too dangerous. Mako needs to figure out what she wants out of life and whether to continue racing.
