The Hotel: Time's running out for Mark Jenkins in his role as entertainments manager at the Cavendish. He decides it's time to give the hotel a new lease of life by swapping their older clientele for younger guests. But there's an obstacle to Mark's plans to make the hotel more child friendly. As he admits, 'I don't really like children'. Nonetheless, plans for a family fun day give Mark an opportunity to tackle another problem he believes is holding back this family business: eldest son and general manager James. Mark doesn't think James is an effective manager, so he asks him to run the family fun day, hoping James can learn to be more decisive and stand up to his meddling mum and boss, Vicky.
