Take the High Road: It is the day of Isabel's 50th birthday. Isabel is depressed because she thinks everybody has forgotten. Morag warns Sneddon that there might be a wild animal attacking farm animals. Sneddon invites himself to Isabel's birthday party. Isabel's party begins and she finds she has two surprise guests - Susan Duncan and Maggie Watson. Mrs. Mack gets reacquainted with Maggie. Carol teases Mrs. Mack about her statute. Eddie Ramsay does some investigating. Isabel tells Alun her reasons why she didn't tell him when her birthday was and he dismisses them immediately.
