In Bristol, Scarlette and Stuart help single mum Natalie, who wants to transform her house into a colourful haven for herself and her daughter Freda. To get on the property ladder, Natalie has bought the ultimate fixer-upper, but major tasks like a new roof and complete re-rendering of the house threaten to blow the budget. Determined to save money, Scarlette takes Natalie to a kitchen manufacturer to demonstrate how to create a bespoke rainbow-theme kitchen on a budget, and they also revamp the existing fireplace for less than Â£60. Stuart helps Natalie settle on finishing design touches to fill the house with colour. With a moving date from their rented house already set, the pressure is on to complete the renovation on time.
